Meeting the needs of each client is my goal.

I specialize in relationship and family counseling, and in that capacity, I mediate conflicts and try to help members better understand themselves and how that impacts their dynamics with others.

Another specialty of mine focuses on treating body-based trauma, specifically sexual trauma, and I have created a framework to aid in the healing process.

My focus uses a client-centered approach, and I pull from a plethora of resources, skills, and knowledge that best meets the needs of the individual client, all with a focus on increased self-awareness.

Experience

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Board Certified “Kink Conscious” Sex Therapist, Certified Divorce Mediator, and Certified Relationship Coach with a Doctorate in Clinical Sexology.

Over my 20+ years of experience in the mental health field, I have held numerous roles, including case management, school counseling, and private practice.

My Bachelor’s degree is in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Loyola. I also received my Master’s in Counseling from National Louis and have a Master’s in Educational Leadership from The American College of Education. Finally, I recently obtained my Doctorate in Clinical Sexology from the International Institute of Clinical Sexology.
